1. Acceptance and scope

By using this website, you agree to these terms. Additional written terms may apply to a particular quote, purchase, sale, delivery, collection, custom order or service. If there is a conflict, the transaction-specific terms apply to that transaction, subject always to applicable law.

2. Website information

Website content is provided for general information. We aim to keep it accurate and available, but do not guarantee that every description, image, price feed, calculator result or availability statement is complete, current or error-free. We may correct content or suspend features without notice.

3. Prices, estimates and quotes

Metal markets and exchange rates change continuously. Charts, spot prices and calculator outputs are indicative references only and are not an offer to transact. Product form, purity, weight, condition, premiums, taxes, fees and other factors may affect the final price.

A quote becomes binding only when Tri Metals confirms it, its validity period and any applicable conditions, and the customer accepts it in the required manner before it expires.

4. Selling items to Tri Metals

You confirm that you are legally entitled to sell any item presented to us and that the item is not stolen, unlawfully acquired or subject to another person's rights. We may require identification, ownership information or other compliance documentation and may refuse or report a transaction where reasonably required by law or risk controls.

Any preliminary estimate is subject to physical inspection, testing and weighing. You must authorise any testing or removal process that may affect an item. A sale is complete only after the final offer is accepted and the agreed transaction requirements are met.

5. Buying from Tri Metals

Product images are illustrative and appearance may vary. Stock is subject to availability. An enquiry or WhatsApp message does not reserve an item. An order is confirmed only when Tri Metals accepts it and any required payment and verification conditions have been satisfied.

6. Payment, collection and delivery

Approved payment methods, timing, collection, delivery, insurance, charges and transfer of risk will be confirmed for each transaction. Customers must provide accurate details and inspect goods promptly. Do not send payment to account details received from an unverified source; confirm any change directly with a known branch contact.

7. Cancellations, returns and consumer rights

Cancellation and return rights depend on the type of transaction, whether goods were customised, changes in market-linked pricing, and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other applicable legislation.

8. No investment advice

Tri Metals provides general product and market information, not personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Precious-metal prices can rise or fall and past performance is not a guarantee of future results. You are responsible for your decisions and should obtain independent advice where appropriate.

9. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it unreasonably, or use its content unlawfully. Website text, branding, graphics, coin designs and other content belong to Tri Metals or its licensors and may not be commercially reproduced without permission.

10. External services

The website links to services such as WhatsApp, social media and third-party market-data sources. Those services are controlled by their providers. Tri Metals is not responsible for their availability, security, content or independent terms.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tri Metals is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on indicative information. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under applicable consumer law.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update them by publishing a revised version on this page. Changes apply from the stated updated date and do not retrospectively alter an already confirmed transaction unless legally permitted and agreed.
